After completing a double Bachelor's degree in the Sociology of Law and International Relations from the University of California, Davis, Ms. Awad-Rashmawi attended and graduated from the Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California in 1996. After passing the California State Bar Exam in 1997, Ms. Awad-Rashmawi began practicing law in Sacramento, focusing her practice on Immigration Law. In 2008, Ms. Awad-Rashmawi earned the distinction as a California State Bar Legal Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law.
During her 13-year experience, Ms. Awad-Rashmawi has successfully completed many immigration cases at California immigration offices and courts in Sacramento, San Francisco, Modesto, San Diego and out-of-state in Nevada and Arizona.
Over the years, Ms. Awad-Rashmawi has successfully represented numerous clients at the EOIR Immigration Court in San Francisco. Cases range from asylum to cancellation of removal, from removal based on certain criminal convictions to family based cases. Ms. Reem Awad-Rashmawi's court success do not stop at the Immigration Court, her dedication has also proven successful at the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
